Walk a Country Mile – Slim Dusty 

In ‘Walk a country mile’ the lyrics play homage to the ‘never ending road’ to get where you want to be; a road ‘where you need a friend or two along the way’ and where you will ‘learn a lot you never knew before’. 

My painting, ‘Moonbi Walks’, is a memory of such a country mile. A walk accompanied by dear girlfriends, discussing all that is important and also nothing in particular; an annual pilgrimage along the endless roads of Moonbi farm , with no particular destination, coming to an end when we decide to return for sunset drinks.
