Sydney Road Gallery presents a new exhibition - ‘In Full Colour’ by Sydney Artist Monique Tyacke - opening March 28th 2019.

‘In Full Colour’ is an exhibition of paintings of the human form in the natural landscape. It is a celebration of colour, capturing beautiful scenes in and around Sydney’s beaches. Monique draws inspiration from her local area and captures an emotional response to people in the landscape, playing with light and shadows. She uses unusual colours that make her paintings easily recognisable as her own. Monique works on canvas and wood panels and simplifies the details while still leaving enough of a representation for the viewer to interpret the painting in an engagingly graphic way.
