Lillian was born on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Grew up in the Southern Highlands and in Northern NSW. Completed a Bachelor of Nursing at Sydney University. Learned a great deal in local community classes at Kuringai Art Centre, Gallery Cats Studio and Warringah Printmakers Studio. I have sold art privately on commission. Emerging artist debut at Sydney road Gallery.

"My art practice has been informed by a full life. A childhood of playing with clay dug straight out of the ground, powdered colour paints in glass jars, fabric and sewing, paper, scissors and saucepans of glue I would cook myself from flour and water. Close to nature, talking to trees and earthworms. A pivot into nursing. A different kind of tending and mending. Total immersion into motherhood. I grew a beautiful tribe. And now, still working in healthcare and always a mother, I play again. Paint, paper, scissors and glue. Full circle. Love and grief and all that sits between. This is my language." L.Y
