Our home backs onto a patch of remnant subtropical rainforest—what was once the Big Scrub, now reduced to just 1% of its original size. This ancient landscape, with its towering tress, slender palms and rich undergrowth, influences my work. Though it’s less about capturing what I see and more about expressing what I feel, the emotional resonance of being within the landscape.
