I often like to start making marks and mixing paint colours without a specific plan in mind. Fish for Dinner emerged in the summer whilst enjoying my coastal surroundings. Images and memories seep into my subconscious and find their way onto canvas. These shapes and colours feel like a fishing scene to me.
