I  am drawn to atmospheric weather conditions, which are often reminiscent of the human condition. The mist conceals and reveals, a constantly changing landscape. Through my painting I seek to discover how to get comfortable with the unknown and find my way through the inconsistencies, in nature and life. Roads feature for the journeys and adventures they symbolise, as well as being a wonderful device for carrying the eye through the painting.
