Rainbow of Neutrals series

Dry Land is part of Rainbow of Neutrals, a series that explores the quiet complexity of earth-toned landscapes. The work is rooted in an intuitive, organic process—moments encountered rather than constructed. By observing fragments of a bigger picture Leticia becomes immersed and inspired by its textures, shapes and tones that bring a sense of harmony and peacefulness.

In this series, Leticia invites the viewer to pause and - even momentarily -appreciate the beauty that are present in unexpected places.

Leticia Almeida is a Brazilian photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. Leticia uses photography to capture fragments of beauty around her – both in nature, and in moments that might otherwise seem mundane.

She has lived in and moved between Brazil, Australia, Boston and New York. In response to the intensity and disruption of this experience, Leticia has a deep desire to pursue a sense of “home”. This sensibility is central to her work, where she seeks out quiet moments of peace and translates them into images that evoke calm and reflection. Her photographs often focus on subtle details, shifting light, and a sense of stillness, drawing attention to the poetry of the ordinary.

In addition to her fine art practice, Leticia works as a commercial photographer in the food and lifestyle industry.
