The Beach Lyfe exhibition by Sydney Artist Anna Price is a depiction of summer in the Australian parks and beaches, captured through a childlike imagination.
Growing up, Price was enamoured with human figures and structures, constantly illustrating people, animals and objects. Taking on acrylic paint as a medium in her later years, she fused her love of pencil illustrations with paint, which evolved into large paintings of random scenes in all kinds of scales and conflicting visual perspectives, part painted, part illustrated, each scene telling it’s own story.
